1. Πεδίο εφαρμογής1. Scope

Οι παρόντες κανόνες διέπουν κάθε δημοσίευση στις ενότητες Αρχείο, Ανάλυση, Εκδόσεις και Δημόσιος Διάλογος, τόσο για υλικό της πρωτοβουλίας όσο και για υλικό συνεργατών.

These rules govern every publication in the Archive, Analysis, Publications and Public Dialogue sections, for material of the initiative and of contributors alike.

2. Ταξινόμηση περιεχομένου2. Classification of content

Κάθε καταχώριση φέρει μία από τις ακόλουθες ταξινομήσεις, ορατή στον αναγνώστη:

Every entry carries one of the following classifications, visible to the reader:

• Τεκμήριο - πρωτογενές υλικό, παρατιθέμενο με πλήρη τυπική παραπομπή και αναφορά στο αποθετήριο προέλευσης.Primary source - primary material, reproduced with a full formal citation and a reference to the repository of origin.
• Τεκμηριωμένο - διαπίστωση που στηρίζεται σε προσδιορίσιμη πηγή, η οποία παρατίθεται.Documented - a statement resting on an identifiable source, which is cited.
• Ερμηνεία - ανάγνωση τεκμηριωμένου υλικού. Η ερμηνεία διακρίνεται από το υλικό στο οποίο στηρίζεται.Interpretation - a reading of documented material. The interpretation is distinguished from the material on which it rests.
• Άποψη - τοποθέτηση συντάκτη. Δεν αποτελεί θέση της πρωτοβουλίας, εκτός αν δηλώνεται ρητά ως τέτοια.Opinion - an author's position. It does not constitute a position of the initiative unless expressly identified as one.

3. Διάκριση γεγονότος, ερμηνείας και άποψης εντός του κειμένου3. Distinguishing fact, interpretation and opinion within a text

Πέραν της ταξινόμησης της καταχώρισης, μέσα στο ίδιο το κείμενο πρέπει να είναι σαφές πού τελειώνει η τεκμηρίωση και πού αρχίζει η ερμηνεία. Διατυπώσεις που παρουσιάζουν συμπέρασμα ως δεδομένο, ή εικασία ως τεκμηριωμένο γεγονός, δεν γίνονται δεκτές.

Beyond the classification of the entry, within the text itself it must be clear where documentation ends and interpretation begins. Formulations presenting a conclusion as a given, or conjecture as documented fact, are not accepted.

4. Παραπομπές4. References

Κάθε παραπομπή περιλαμβάνει τα στοιχεία που επιτρέπουν σε τρίτο να εντοπίσει το πρωτότυπο: τίτλο, εκδότη ή όργανο, σύμβολο ή αριθμό εγγράφου, ημερομηνία και, όπου υπάρχει, σύνδεσμο προς επίσημο αποθετήριο.

Every reference includes the elements enabling a third party to locate the original: title, issuing body or publisher, document symbol or number, date and, where available, a link to an official repository.

Δευτερογενείς πηγές παρατίθενται ως δευτερογενείς. Δεν παρουσιάζονται ως πρωτογενές υλικό.

Secondary sources are cited as secondary. They are not presented as primary material.

5. Φιλοξενία τρίτων απόψεων5. Hosting third-party opinion

Οι παρεμβάσεις πολιτών και προσκεκλημένων συνεργατών δημοσιεύονται επώνυμα, με σαφή σήμανση ότι εκφράζουν τους συντάκτες τους. Μπορούν να φιλοξενηθούν διαφορετικές και αντικρουόμενες πολιτικές τοποθετήσεις. Η φιλοξενία δεν συνιστά υιοθέτηση ούτε επικύρωση.

Interventions by citizens and invited contributors are published under their own names, clearly marked as expressing the views of their authors. Differing and conflicting political positions may be hosted. Hosting constitutes neither adoption nor endorsement.

6. Όρια6. Limits

Δεν δημοσιεύεται υλικό που περιέχει ρητορική μίσους ή υποκίνηση βίας, προσβολή της τιμής προσώπου χωρίς τεκμηρίωση, δεδομένα προσωπικού χαρακτήρα τρίτων χωρίς νόμιμη βάση, ή περιεχόμενο που παραβιάζει δικαιώματα πνευματικής ιδιοκτησίας.

Material is not published if it contains hate speech or incitement to violence, undocumented attacks on the honour of an individual, personal data of third parties without a lawful basis, or content infringing intellectual property rights.

Η απόρριψη κειμένου γνωστοποιείται στον συντάκτη με αναφορά στον λόγο.

Rejection of a text is communicated to the author with a statement of the reason.

7. Υποβολή κειμένου7. Submission of a text

Τα κείμενα υποβάλλονται στη διεύθυνση επικοινωνίας που δημοσιεύεται στο υποσέλιδο. Η υποβολή περιλαμβάνει: το πλήρες κείμενο, το ονοματεπώνυμο του συντάκτη, σύντομο βιογραφικό σημείωμα και τις παραπομπές του κειμένου. Η υποβολή δεν δημιουργεί υποχρέωση δημοσίευσης.

Texts are submitted to the contact address published in the footer. A submission includes: the full text, the author's full name, a short biographical note and the text's references. Submission creates no obligation to publish.

8. Διορθώσεις και ανακλήσεις8. Corrections and retractions

Τεκμηριωμένο σφάλμα διορθώνεται και η διόρθωση σημειώνεται με ημερομηνία στο σώμα του κειμένου. Κείμενο ανακαλείται μόνο για νομικό λόγο ή για ουσιώδες σφάλμα τεκμηρίωσης που δεν επιδέχεται διόρθωση· η ανάκληση σημειώνεται δημοσίως.

A documented error is corrected and the correction is noted with a date in the body of the text. A text is retracted only for a legal reason, or for a material documentation error that cannot be corrected; the retraction is publicly noted.
